Policies

• Late Arrivals: Appointments run with a small gap between each and whilst we appreciate sometimes unplanned events or circumstances happen, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment then we may need to reschedule which will be treated as a missed appointment.

• Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled groom.

• No-Shows: Failing to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will require full payment of the missed appointment before any future bookings can be made.

Vaccinations & Parasites: For the safety of all pets and our staff, all dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments. If fleas or ticks are discovered on your dog during the groom we will request that the owner pickup immediately to avoid cross contamination and risk to other dogs. 

Pre-existing Conditions: Owners must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or previous surgeries prior to grooming. We reserve the right to refuse service to dogs with severe health conditions if the grooming process compromises their well-being.

Sedation Policy: We do not groom dogs that are sedated. If your dog requires sedation, this must be handled by a licensed veterinarian.

• Humanity Before Vanity: Dogs with severely matted or tangled coats may require a "shave-off". Severe matting causes pain, skin irritation, and restricts blood flow. We will always discuss options with the pet owner first. 

• Additional Fees: De-matting takes significant extra time to the groom and this will incure an addtional cost of between £10-£25 based on the severity and extra time needed. 

• Handling Difficult Dogs: We prioritize a stress-free environment. If your dog exhibits severe aggression or becomes too stressed to continue safely, we reserve the right to halt the grooming process immediately.

Collection Times: We will send you a text or call when your dog is 20 minutes away from being finished. Please arrive promptly to collect your dog.

Pricing Estimates: All quotes provided prior to the groom and listed on the website are estimates. Final prices are determined by the dog's coat condition, size, behavior, and the specific style requested.

Arrivals: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened groom - appreciating calendars and appointments and other peoples time.

Pickup:  We'll contact you when your dog is ready for collection and send a text message approx. 20 minutes before the groom is finished. Please be available to collect promptly. A late collection fee of £10 per 20 minutes will apply (after 30 minutes).
